DIRECTIONS From M1 Junction 33 (Parkway) Take the Sheffield Parkway (A630) towards Sheffield. As the speed limit changes to 50mph (ASDA set back on your left) move across into the sliproad and take the next exit, turning left towards Mosborough / Worksop. At the roundabout at the end of the by-pass move into the right hand lane and take the 3rd exit (signposted ‘Intake’). Go up the hill and you will see the Normanton Springs pub on your left. Turn left just past the pub. The road dips and then goes uphill. At the top turn left into the main road. Go through the traffic calming islands and turn right just after the pelican crossing (up between the row of shops and The Birley public house). The Community Centre is at the top facing you. Dog-leg right then left up into the car park. From M1Junction 31 (A57, Worksop) Follow the A57 towards Mosborough / Sheffield (or City Centre). On the short stretch of dual carriageway (you'll see a footbridge over the road) move over to the right hand lane and turn right at the roundabout (follow the City Centre sign). At the next roundabout (Coisley Hill) take the first left (signposted 'Intake'). Go up the hill and you will see the Normanton Springs pub on your left. Turn left just past the pub. The road dips and then goes uphill. At the top turn left into the main road. Go through the traffic calming islands and turn right just after the pelican crossing (up between the row of shops and The Birley public house). The Community Centre is at the top facing you. Dog-leg right then left up into the car park. From M1 Junction 30 (Barlborough) Take the A6135 (formerly the A616) towards Sheffield. Stay on this road for about 5/6 miles passing through Renishaw and Mosborough. You will go through a set of traffic lights where the Supertram tracks cross the main road. Watch your speed limit from here, as there are both hidden and visible cameras. You will pass 2 Petrol stations (BP on the left then Texaco on your right). Turn left just before the next pelican crossing (up between The Birley public house and the row of shops). The Community Centre is at the top facing you. Dog-leg right then left up into the car park. From Sheffield City Centre Take the A6135 (formerly the A616) from the City Centre (which eventually runs all the way through to J30 of the M1). After about 3 miles you will come through the Manor Top traffic lights after which you'll need to move over into the right hand lane when you get to the fire station. The road runs down hill through Intake, then up hill into Frecheville. Go through the traffic calming islands and turn right just after the pelican crossing (up between the row of shops and The Birley public house). The Community Centre is at the top facing you. Dog-leg right then left up into the car park. |
